Fit Tip Friday: Daily Water Intake

Yep, I’m talking about water again. Know why? Because it’s IMPORTANT! And many of you aren’t getting enough on a daily basis. This is your foundation for a healthy body and healthy skin. Don’t underestimate this.


– Water makes up about 60% of your body weight.

– Water flushes toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells, and provides a moist environment for ear, nose and throat tissues.

– Lack of water can lead to dehydration and skin breakouts. Your body doesn’t have the water it needs to carry out normal functions. Mild dehydration symptoms include feeling drained/tired, and headaches.

So now, the answer to the question you all want to know… HOW MUCH WATER IS ENOUGH FOR ME IN A DAY!?

Answer: You need to drink half your body weight in ounces of water. Example -> If you weigh 140 lbs, you should generally have about 70 ounces of water per day. And if you sweat excessively, drink a little more.
