Grapeseed Oil for Skin

For the past 9 days, I’ve been using Grapeseed Oil on my face after washing, morning and night. Grapeseed Oil (referred to as GSO in this post hereafter) is an oil derived from grapes. Used on the skin, there are many benefits.  I’ve listed a few below:

1. Helps with acne. I know what you’re thinking: Won’t an oil clog your pores? Natural oils are actually good for your skin and do quite the opposite, penetrating your skin and delivering nutrients. GSO has fatty acids and antioxidants to prevent pores from clogging, as well as improve the condition and texture of your skin.

2. Tightens your skin. GSO contains astringent which is great for toning and tightening.

3. Minimize Aging of the Skin. The antioxidant properties contained in GSO are excellent for minimizing skin aging.

To use:

Wash your face with your regular cleanser.

If you use a toner, use that now.

Apply your serums/skin treatments.

Lastly, apply GSO to your skin. A little goes a long way. Massage gently into the skin until absorbed.

P.S. Another benefit is that, if you suffer from oily skin, using this oil (or other natural oils), will keep your skin from overcompensating its oil production because it won’t be dry or dehydrated. Try it for 2 weeks, you’ll notice a significant improvement!

Where can you buy GSO? I got mine from Camden Grey online. You can also do a search on Amazon.com, as they have it, in addition to many health food stores/supermarkets.
